Tennessee fatality is Missouri fugitive

April 4, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

A man sought since last September for running over an eleven-year-old girl in Steele has been found dead after a traffic accident near Crossville, Tennessee. The Pemiscot County sheriff says Gregory Reid of Blytheville, Arkansas had been sought since his pickup truck hit Lachelle Robinson last September. She survived with several injuries. The sheriff says investigators think it might have been a hate crime. Reid was thrown through the windshield of his pickup truck when it hit a mountainside, and died on the way to a hospital.
