Kudzu control a growing issue

Kudzu control gets the blessing of the House of Representatives, days after the House said it was a bad idea. The House has reversed itself and advanced Representative Jim Kreider’s bill after defeating it last week. Kudzu is the fast-growing vine that has overgrown many areas in the south. It is starting to show up here. The bill puts kudzu on the state list of noxious weeds. That requires local efforts to kill it out.
