Longtime Chief Dale Carter, now with the Denver Broncos, faces a year suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy, according to a newspaper report. The Denver Post is reporting Carter violated the policy twice in the past three months, and had two previous violations in his career. Carter’s agent denies Carter has failed a drug test. If he is suspended, he could lose the 3.5-million dollars he is scheduled to make next season.
