Two Indicted for Cocaine Smuggling

March 30, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Two Pennsylvania men arrested after a routine traffic stop in Callaway County earlier this week have been charged in federal court with trying to smuggle cocaine through the county. Prosecutors say the two men ran away while highway patrolmen searched their vehicle…but both were caught a short time later. During a search of their rented car, troopers found more than eight pounds of cocaine concealed in a door panel. If convicted of drug conspiracy charges, the two men could be sentenced from ten years to life in prison.
