Jewelry salesman’s car stolen

A jewelry salesman says he had 300 to 400-thousand dollars worth of jewelry in the trunk of his car when it was stolen in Bridgeton. Owner Fred Kaplan of Maryland Heights has told police the jewelry was not insured. The car’s been found. But only one-third of the jewelry was still in it.
