Cujo Stifles Blues; Wings Gain

March 30, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The Blues lose, and it’s becoming uncomfortably tight at the top of the Western conference. Former Blue Curtis Joseph made 34 saves to lead Toronto to a 3-2 win over St. Louis, and trim the Blues lead over Detroit to one point. Detroit beat Vancouver, 6-3. The Blues still have two games in hand. The Blues loss ended their six game unbeaten streak. St. Louis had some tough luck. On two of the Toronto goals, centering passes deflected off of defenseman Chris Pronger. Craig Conroy and Jochen Hecht scored for St. Louis. The Blues play in Boston tonight, before returning home to host the Red Wings Saturday.Today is the last day to buy eight game playoff packages for the first two rounds of the playoffs. Anyone buying those packages is guaranteed the option to by conference finals and Stanley cup Finals tickets. Single-game playoff tickets go on sale Saturday.
