The last of the five people charged with the robbery of a Brinks armored van a year ago has been sentenced to prison. 15 years for Byron Spears, who won’t be eligible for parole. He also has to pay more than 239-thousand dollars in restitution. He pleaded guilty last June. The driver of the van helped with the robbery, in which the truck was driven from a convenience store in Blue Springs to a remote location where it was looted.
