Voters Could Consider Existence of UFOs

March 28, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

One of twelve possible issues facing voters this November would declare the year 2000 the Year of UFO Awareness. It would also urge Congress to open hearings on the existence of UFOs. Bruce Widaman of St. Charles heads the Mutual UFO Network and hopes to place his proposal before voters this fall. But Secretary of State Bekki Cook says six weeks is not a lot of time to collect the necessary signatures. Widaman’s proposals also asks voters to legally acknowledge that UFO’s exist and that the government has created public cynicism by concealing evidence that UFOs are real.
