Turek Named NHL Player of Week

March 28, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Blues’ goaltender Roman Turek is the NHL’s player of the week. Turek won three times last week, posting a 1.00 goals against average, and a .950 save percentage. Turek leads the NHL with 40 wins, six shutouts, and a 1.90 goals against. The Blues’ lead in the Western Conference has been trimmed to just three points by the Detroit Red Wings, who continue to win. The Blues have two games in hand. They host Toronto Wednesday and visit Boston on Thursday.
