Former Tiger Hudson Cut by Clippers

March 28, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Former Mizzou recruit Troy Hudson has been released by the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers. Hudson transferred from Missouri to his hometown of Carbondale, to play for Southern Illinois. Hudson started 38 games for the Clips this year, averaging 9 points and 4 assists. Jim Todd is the Clippers’ interim coach, a title you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. Todd says injuries to L.A.’s inside players forced the team to cut Hudson to make room for 6-9 Etdrick Bohannon, who signed a 10-day contract. Hudson’s agent says he is not likely to land with another team at this point in the season.
