The owner of three illegal tire dumps in the Kansas City area is being taken to court by the state, which wants a judge to order the removal of an estimated 57-thousand tires. The attorney general says owner Tom Jenkins should be ordered to remove the tires and if he does not, he should be forced to pay the state to remove them. Jenkins says he has been trying to clean up the sites.
