Students in the Exeter school district had to walk past extra security today on their way to class. The heightened security is a response to a threat phoned into the school yesterday morning. Barry County Sheriff Mick Epperly says a woman called to say her boyfriend was headed to the school with a shotgun and planned to hurt a couple of students. Epperly says deputies are still looking for those responsible for making the threatening phone call. The school was locked down for about three hours yesterday after the threat was made.
