Al MacInnis scored a power play goal with 2:13 left, and lifted the Blues to a 2-1 win over Carolina. MacInnis drilled a slapshot off a Carolina defenseman and into the net. The goal gives MacInnis 1100 points for his career. Rookie Marty Reasoner also scored for St. Louis. The win sets Blues franchise records for wins in a season, 47, and wins on the road, 24. St. Louis now has a six point lead over Detroit in the Western Conference, after the Wings tied Calgary. The Blues play at Tampa Bay tomorrow.
