For some people it will be a financial bonus in later years. For others, it’s a matter of life and death. Today, a person who keeps working after starting to collect social secuirty loses some of their social security if they earn too much money each year. The United States Senate votes to change the law, letting people keep working full time AND collect all of their social security. Senator Ashcroft has pushed the bill in Washington. The House and Senate have passed similar bills, both unanimously. Ashcroft is confident small differences can be worked out easily. President Clinton already has promised to sign it.
