Missouri Southern State College has reached the Division II final four. The Lions beat Florida Southern today, 76-65 in the opening game of the D-II Elite Eight in Louisville, Kentucky. Florida Southern lost for only the second time this year. The Lions trailed throughout the first half, before a late surge gave them the lead before halftime.The win continues an incredible season for the Lions, who lost just twice in the M-I-Double-A to win the regular season league title. They then rolled through the conference tournament and the South Central Regional, which they hosted. The Lions play in the semi-finals tomorrow at 6:30. They will face the winner of the game between St. Anselm and Metro State.
