Federal prosecutors in Kansas City says they’ve collected nearly fifty indictments under a new initiative aimed at getting gun-toting felons off the street. US Attorney Steve Hill says Project Felon has proven to be a big success in its first six months. Governor Carnahan promises support from the Missouri Highway Patrol, saying two troopers will assist in Kansas City, finding felons and handing them over to federal authorities.
