Charges that money can be found for some state projects and not for others surface as the Missouri House works its way through the $17-Billionstate budget.Democrats have consistently beat back Republican amendments to the state budget by asking where they will get the money to fund their changes. But when a Democrat claims a portion from the $9-Million in undistributed Lottery winnings, Republicans cry foul.House Republican leader Delbert Scott of Lowry City says his party didn’t know about that fund and asks under which rock the money was found. Scott insinuates Democrats have a way to unearth money for their projects unavailable to Republicans. He presses his point by asking if more rocks will be turned over when the need arises.
