1A-2A Semis Tip Off at Hearnes

March 17, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

It’s hoops galore again at the Hearnes Center as the Missouri Class 1A and 2A semi-finals get underway today. In Class 2A, Forsyth has reached the final four, coached by a man who played for Forsyth’s final four team in 1993, Brent Blevins. Forsyth meets St. Louis Whitfield, and first timer Blair Oaks takes on Linn. On the girls side, three of last year’s final four are back, with only defending champ Pembroke Hill missing. East Newton plays St. Louis John Burroughs and Kansas City St. Pius X will battle Monroe City. The 1A semi-final matchups: In boys, Brunswick plays Billings and Jefferson meets Weaubleau (WAH blow). On the girls’ side, it’s Glasgow against Newburg and Albany against Climax Springs.
