Trying to pad their dwindling lead in the Western Conference, the Blues drilled Phoenix 5-3. Chris Pronger scored a pair of goals and Marty Reasoner had four assists. Pascal Rheaume also scored for St. Louis. He was playing for the first time after missing the entire season rehabbing a shoulder injury. The Blues now lead the red-hot Detroit Red Wings by 4 points in the race for the top spot in the conference. The Blues play in Los Angeles tomorrow night.
