Tigers Open Spring Drills without Rollins

March 14, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

Ahhhh, March. The coming of spring, when the sports world turns its focus to…. football? Yes, spring football practice is underway for the Missouri Tigers. The Tigers began spring drills Monday in Columbia. Mizzou is missing running back Taurean Rollins out of Raytown South because of a rare injury known as “compartment syndrome.” Rollins has had two operations this month to relieve pressure in his lower leg. Doctors say he may not be able to play football again. Rollins was slated to be the Tigers number two running back behind junior Zain Gilmore.
