Missouri coach Quin Snyder has been named rookie coach of the year by Basketball Times. Snyder replaced Norm Stewart, who retired after last season. Snyder has collected more wins than any first year coach in Mizzou history, with 18 thus far. Snyder will lead the Tigers into the NCAA tournament against North Carolina at 6:55 pm Friday.
