Police Kill Man with Knife

St. Charles police say one of their officers acted in self-defense when he shot and killed a man with a knife. Officers had gone to the apartment of Emil Bachman on a public disturbance call. The officers who went into his apartment say they maced him, then shot him twice in the abdomen when he threatened them with the knife.
