An Indiana company’s effort to buy Guy’s Foods has fallen apart. Guy’s Foods is in bankruptcy. It employs about one thousand workers and has its headquarters in Liberty. General Products and Services of Fort Wayne, Indiana, had offered to assume the company’s 14-million-dollar debt in exchange for its assets. But General Products couldn’t reach an agreement with the Chicago bank that is Guy’s main lender. Negotiations have begun with another potential buyer.
