Federal money will be coming to Missouri to offset some of the costs of fighting wildfires in the Lake of the Ozarks area. The Federal Emergency Management Agency will reimburse the state for 70 percent of any expenses topping 56-thousand dollars. The state emergency management agency has not calculated the ongoing costs. Governor Carnahan has declared a state of emergency for nine counties.
