Crime Victim Fund Funded

Missouri is getting a million-and-a-half dollars from the federal government for its crime victims compensation fund. That’s a reimbursement for about forty percent of the money the fund paid out to victims last year. The federal money comes from fines and penalties paid by convictd federal criminals.
