Southwest Missouri State’s Lady Bears cruised past Creighton, 72-53 in the Missouri Valley tourney. The Lady Bears used a 16-3 run early in the second half to pull away from the Blue Jays, and never looked back. As usual, all-America candidate Jackie Stiles led SMS with 17 points. Carly Deer had 13 points and 13 rebounds. SMS plays Evansville in the semis tonight. The Lady Bears will be seeking revenge on the Aces, who knocked SMS out of last years conference tournament.
