Kidney Transplant Finally Happens

A Town and Country man has finally gotten his valentine’s gift from his wife, and it’s working. John Concannon now has one of his wife’s kidneys. The transplant, at a Columbia hospital, was to have taken place on Valentine’s Day, but he developed an infection that had to be knocked down before the operation could happen. He’s had two prior transplants. Concannon suffers from a rare congenital disease.
