Missouri can greatly enhance its NCAA tournament chances with a win tonight against Texas Tech in the Big 12 Tournament. At 17-11, another win would take Missouri’s NCAA resume from questionable to solid. The negatives for the Tigers are a 2-8 mark against ranked opponents, and a mediocre 5-5 record over their last ten games. They do have a solid RPI and the 13th-toughest schedule in the nation. The Red Raiders led Mizzou by eleven in their only meeting this year, before the Tigers scored the game’s last 17 points to win in Lubbock. Texas Tech guard Rayford Young averages 18 points a game, but has averaged 30 points in his last three. Tip off is 8:20 tonight.
