Royals Bats Erupt for First Win

Finally, a win for the Royals. The Royals pounded the Indians, there’s a phrase you don’t hear often, 12-1. Joe Randa was 3 for 4, drove in 3, and hit his second home run. Kansas City also got three hits each from Rey Sanchez and Mike Sweeney. Rookie Chad Durbin struck out four and gave up just one run in three innings. He has a chance to make the roster because of the injury to Blake Stein. Everybody’s favorite power prospect, Dee Brown, hit a pair of home runs in a “B” game. Today, the Royals split up and play two… Jeff Suppan starts against Tampa Bay, and potential 5th starter Tyler Green goes against the Dodgers.
