Blues Host Canucks

March 9, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

It’s one of those business-like games for the Blues. A lesser opponent, a team you should beat, a matchup that doesn’t bring out much emotion. But one you can’t afford to overlook. The Blues host Vancouver tonight at Kiel Center. The Canucks are last in their division, but just six points out of the final playoff spot, so they have plenty to play for. And they have talented players such as Mark Messier. The Blues meanwhile, are playing better than anyone in the league, and lead the NHL with 93 points, four ahead of New Jersey, and five more than Detroit.
