Study Using Spirituality to Prevent Drug Abuse

A one-million-dollar study in St.Louis is going to look at how spirituality can help prevent drug abuse in young people. The Missouri Institute for Mental Health and three church congregations are combining for the three-year study. It’s one of 21 abuse programs financed by the federal department of health, but the only one involving faith.
