Powerball Winner Comes Forward

March 8, 2000 By admin Leave a Comment

The holder of one of the three winning powerball tickets from last weekend’s drawing has stepped forward…and has decided he’ll take his money in one big lump. Gary Ruff and his wife, from Overland, will get one check for almost 26-million dollars, before deductions. He could have taken annual payments for 25 years that would have totalled about 50 million–again, before taxes. He’s already quit his job as an ironworker. She’s already quit hers as a customer service representative.
