Kansas City cabbies are asking the city council to increase their faresdue to skyrocketing prices at the pumps. Cab driver Mark Kanatzer says ifthe price hits $1.80 a gallon this summer, as some are predicting, he’ll parkhis cab. He says he’s losing $200-$400 a month profit and can’t do anything aboutit because the city sets the cab rates.
