Bottalico Roughed Up by Jays

The Royals lost to Toronto, 3-2, but they WAY they lost invokes some bad memories. Kansas City got a good outing from starter Jay Witasick. He allowed just one hit in three innings. Witasick and Carlos Beltran both have signed new deals, meaning all 63 players in Royals camp are under contract. The Royals made a trade, getting backup catcher Greg Zaun from Detroit for a player to be named. Kansas city faces Cleveland today.
