Shoe Maker Fixed Prices

The Attorney General’s office says the state will receive more than600-thousand dollars from a national settlement with a show manufacturer.Fifty states sued the Nine West Group of New York for allegedly working withshoe retailers to fix the retail price of women’s shoes. Some of the brandsinvolved include Easy Spirit, Enzo Anglioni and Nine West. Authorities saywomen paid higher prices for those brands because of the price-fixing byNine West.
