Roy Temple,executive director of the Missouri Democratic Party, says the stateDemocratic Party just wants to make sure its nominee is chosen by Democrats. He says the Democratic National Committee wants poll monitors to ensurethe process is not corrupted. The Republican National Committee is notrequiring monitors, though state GOP workers will jot down names in order tocontact likely Republican voters this fall.
