Southeast Missouri State is going to the Big Dance for the first time ever. SEMO knocked off three-time definding champ Murray State, 67-56, to win the Ohio Valley Conference tournament and secure an automatic bid. Mike Branson scored 21 points to lead the Indians, and Roderick Johnson scored 14 and was named tournament MVP. SEMO now has a week to wait, and will find out Sunday who and where it plays in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Indians coach Gary Garner says he’s hoping to be a 12th or 13th seed.
