Mizzou Baseball Wins 10th in A Row

In what turned into a wild two-day affair, the Mizzou baseball team clinched a spot at the Big 12 Tournament by topping Nebraska, 10-5, on Friday afternoon at Haymarket Park in Lincoln. The game spanned a course of two days and was delayed by weather on two separate occasions, but the Tigers scored eight runs over the last two innings to earn their 10th straight win over Nebraska. Mizzou Softball Winning Streak Stopped at 10

A rough fifth inning that saw three walks issued and a hit by pitch ultimately spelled doom for the Tigers, as they dropped the series opener with No. 14 Nebraska, 3-2.  Missouri is now 37-6 on the year and 9-2 in Big 12 play, as their 10-game winning streak was snapped. [Read more...]
