Missouri defends an inbounds pass during their 75-60 loss to Nebraska (Manny Haley)

For just the second time in Big 12 Tournament history the 12 seed has upset the five seed. Nebraska beat the Missouri Tigers 75-60 in the opening round in The Huskers finished shooting over 56% for the game and they were 8 of 14 on three-pointers.  J.T. Tiller from Missouri called it “Murphy’s Law,” saying anything that could go wrong for the Tigers did go wrong.  Brandon Richardson who led four Huskers in double figures with 19 points said they were able to get Missouri to play their game.  Much of what has bothered the Tigers recently resurfaced again.  The Tigers under 40% shooting from the field.

Mizzou Tigers Spring Into Practice

180. That is how many days until the Mizzou Tiger football team takes the field at the Edward Jones Dome for their first game of the 2010 season against Illinois. The beginning of the journey to St. Louis started Tuesday afternoon as the Tigers had their first spring practice.

For the first time in six years at Mizzou Arena, the Missouri Tigers lost on Senior Day falling to rival and second ranked Kansas 77-56 on Saturday.

Taylor comes through big time for Tigers

Missouri senior guard Zaire Taylor has earned a reputation for coming up with big shots when his team needs it. Last night he hit three of them. Taylor scored all-six of his points in the final 5:18 of the game and overtime as the Tigers escaped Ames, Iowa with a 69-67 win over the Cyclones.
