Missouri State women to host WNIT game

The Missouri State women’s basketball team will be returning to the postseason for the first time in four years after receiving an at-large bid to the 2010 Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT). The Lady Bears will host a first-round game at JQH Arena against Oral Roberts Friday night.

7th ranked Central Missouri rolls on in D-II tourney

The No. 7 Central Missouri Mules held off a late rally by No. 15 Fort Hays State, taking an 80-73 win and advancing to the NCAA South Central Region Championship game on Tuesday night.  The Mules will take on the host and top-seed Midwestern State in the title game Tuesday at 7 p.m.

SLU gets bid to CBI tournament

The Saint Louis Billikens will host Indiana State in the first round of the 2010 College Basketball Invitational or CBI on Tuesday at 8pm at Chaifetz Arena. Bears headed to CIT

The Missouri State Bears are back in postseason for the first time since 2006-07 in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament or CIT. MSU will host Middle Tennessee at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday in the 16-team event’s first round.
