The State of Missouri, through private and public partnerships, has developed the Primary Care Resource Initiative for Missouri... PRIMO for short. It's a pipeline for recruiting health care providers and developing community-based systems of health care and life quality. The pipeline begins at the community level and runs through the health professional schools and training institutions before ending back in the community. If you are a medical, mental, dental or nursing student looking for a way to pay college expenses, PRIMO might be able to help. Participants in the PRIMO program can receive funding for school in exchange for working in an area of designated need here in Missouri. For information, call (800) 891-7415 or visit the Primo website.
