Governor Nixon has proposed trimming an additional $500 million from the Missouri State Budget. Missourinet News Director Bob Priddy talks with Darin Jobe about the implications of the cuts. House passes an autism measure and a factory jobs incentive plan
The House sends a measure to the Senate regarding treatment for those diagnosed on the autism spectrum, requiring insurance companies that are regulated by the State of Missouri to cover some treatments. The House also passes a measure that will attempt to lure new manufacturing jobs and encourage existing manufacturing jobs to stay in Missouri by giving special tax incentives.
Houses passes restriction on TANF program
House and Senate debate TANF programs, with the House passing a measure that would restrict Temporary Assistance for Needy Family benefits being distributed to Missourians if they test positive for drugs.
