The St. Louis Cardinals pounded five homeruns and Carlos Martinez pitched six strong innings in a 11-2 win over Baltimore Friday night.
Matt Carpenter hit his 13th home run for the Cardinals and Dexter Fowler, Paul DeJong, Tommy Pham and Jedd Gyorko also homered for St. Louis.
Carlos Martinez allowed one run and four hits while striking out eight in six innings.
