Raul Mondesi’s bases-loaded triple highlighted an eight-run sixth inning as the Royals beat the Red Sox 10-4 at Fenway Park. Salvador Perez hit his third home run in two days and the Royals took two-of-three from the Red Sox, keeping their Wild Card hopes alive.

The Royals are in a pack of seven teams that are all within 4.5 games of the top Wild Card spot in the American League.

The Royals are back home to host the Yankees and Tigers this week. New York is just a half game behind the Royals and Detroit is on game up on K.C.

Boston, Baltimore, Detroit, Houston, the Royals, Seattle and Yankees are all in the hunt.
