Twelve independent and 14 Green Party candidates have been certified by the Missouri Secretary of State’s office to appear on November’s general election ballot. State law allows new political parties onto the ballot if they collect at least 10,000 valid signatures.

More than 23,000 valid Green Party signatures were verified by local election authorities.

The general election will be Tuesday, November 8.
