Nick Foles, the former St. Louis Rams quarterback who asked to be released from his contract with Los Angeles, has now signed on with the head coach who drafted him back in 2012.  Foles will be reunited with Andy Reid after agreeing to terms with the Kansas City Chiefs.  The news was reported last Wednesday night by NFL.com

The Chiefs already have Tyler Bray and 2014 fifth-round pick Aaron Murray fighting for the number two spot behind quarterback Alex Smith.  However, after trading Chase Daniel, it left them with a backup who has yet to throw a pass in a regular season NFL game.

According to NFL.com, Reid was interested in Foles coming to Kansas City when he first took the job if the Eagles were interested in a trade.

Foles came to the Rams in a swap of quarterbacks that sent Sam Bradford to Philly.  When the Rams selected Jared Goff with their first pick in the draft, Foles knew his future would not be with L.A.
