Royals relief pitcher Luke Hochevar was burned by Delino DeShields who hit a go-ahead homer to left-center field, to give the Texas Rangers a 2-1 win at Kauffman Stadium.
The Royals have now given up at least one home run in 11 straight games and with this loss, fall to 5-12 in their last 17 games and dropped to below .500 for the first time since May 17.
