St. Louis struck out 15 times, including four by Randal Grichuk and three by Tommy Pham…Michael Wacha couldn’t make it through five innings…the bullpen gave up the lead.

It all happened in Sunday’s 6-3 loss to the Marlins.

Michael Wacha was lifted after 101 and three runs on seven hits. Four innings matched his shortest outing of the season.

The Cardinals have homered in eight straight games but are just 4-4 in that stretch.

They dropped a game back in the standings after the weekend, now eight back of Chicago and two games out of the Wild Card from Miami and New York for the second spot.
