Michael Wacha came out on the wrond end of a pitchers duel, as the Texas Rangers downed the St. Louis Cardinals 1-0 on Friday night at Busch Stadium.
Rougned Odor homered for the only run of the ballgame.
Cole Hamels gave up just three hits while striking out six and walking three to pick up the win. He lowered his road ERA to 1.64 this season and turned in his fourth consecutive quality start.
Wacha gave up the lone run on six hits, striking out seven over seven and two-thirds innings. He has now lost a career-high seventh straight decision.
