Drew Butera provided the only Royals offense as Kansas City dropped a second straight in Cleveland Friday night by the final of 6-1.

Butera’s second home run of the season was just one of three hits on the night for KC.

Edison Volquez took the loss, allowed five runs in 6 1/3 innings for Kansas City.

Danny Salazar was fantastic for the Indians, allowed one run and strucking out nine over eight innings of work.

The Indians have won four of five over the defending World Series champions and trail the AL Central-leading Royals by a half-game.
